No Passwords, No Problems
We ditched passwords to eliminate credential theft and risky password reuse attacks. Instead, you receive a single-use "Magic Link" via email that is only valid for 5 minutes. Your tokens are never stored in plain text but are protected by high-level SHA-256 hashing.
The Digital Bug Spray
Our code uses 100% PDO prepared statements to ensure that malicious SQL injections don't stand a chance. We also scrub every piece of text you input, stripping dangerous HTML tags to keep your browser safe from XSS attacks. A strict Content Security Policy adds an extra layer of defense by blocking unauthorized inline scripts.
Behind the Hive Walls
To stop brute-force buzzing, we implement strict rate limits on all our authentication endpoints. If an IP address tries to guess its way in, it gets blocked after 5 failed attempts for 15 minutes. Every single security-relevant event is recorded in our audit log to track patterns without compromising your privacy.
The Honest Buzz
Our core application logic and sensitive credentials live in directories above the webroot, making them inaccessible via HTTP. Even if an attacker finds a way to the front door, they cannot directly request your private configuration data. We also use seven different security headers to prevent clickjacking and data leakage to third parties.
